The City Plan – Mapping Urban Culture is an architecture, design, lifestyle, art and culture guide, a constantly updated map of places and events in a contemporary city. The diary section of the app has been designed to group together favoured city spots. By selecting the red triangle found with each entry, you can create your own list of places and then add notes and images, producing a genuine travel diary.
The City Plan provides a range of different ways to visit and enjoy the city. The many itineraries are theme-based to suit a wide gamut of tastes and requirements.
In addition, the City Plan has been designed as a personal travel log where you can make notes, give suggestions, add pictures and new discoveries of places still to visit or re-visit, to send to friends or tell the editing staff about for inclusion in the City Plan.
The City Plan reviews a wide selection of architecture, museums, art galleries, stores, shopping areas, restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels, parks, public areas and local neighbourhoods. It also provides a constantly updated list of on-going events.
The City Plan provides an exhaustive overview of the layers of history as well as the bustle and thrust of a complex reality that is a modern city with its myriad characters, places and people.
The City Plan is completely offline, except for updates and incoming messages. It is published in English and Italian.
